We are currently searching for highly motivated post-docs, graduate, or undergraduate students!

Come join us to rock frontier ultrafast science! We explore the fastest motion and dynamics of electrons and nuclei in molecules, macromolecules, and nanomaterials in condensed phase. We want to directly visualize atomic-scale, molecular, and collective motions in all four dimensions of space and time - to make a movie of what happens during phase transformations, chemical/biophysical reactions, and materials processes.

Working with us involves the state-of-the-art femtosecond laser technology, spectroscopy, and electron microscopy. Yet, all experiments are table-top and you will build and operate the new-generation ultrafast electron microscope, the most powerful in the world and the first in Asia. The successful candidate would have backgrounds in physical chemistry, condensed matter and molecular physics, crystallography, materials science or related fields. Skills in data acquisition and device control are very welcome.
